Your Story Matters
Your Story Matters
I know what it's like to walk through overwhelming challenges — and I bring that same empathy and care into my work as your therapist.

Sara Tawadros
Registered Psychotherapist (Q)
Sometimes life can feel overwhelming. Maybe you’re struggling to feel like yourself again, wrestling with grief that seems unbearable, or watching an important relationship break down. Perhaps you’re a new mother overcome with guilt no one prepared you for, or you’re facing a life transition that has left you anxious and uncertain. I understand, because I’ve been there too.
“Empathy, warmth, and compassion aren’t just therapy techniques — they are the foundation of who I am.”
My path to becoming a psychotherapist began in childhood. My beloved father struggled with sickness for many years. Those early experiences taught me about life’s challenges and uncertainties, but also revealed something beautiful — the power of having people walk alongside you during difficult times. My church community stood with me: they listened, prayed, and helped me process my emotions while keeping God at the centre. Their support showed me how faith and emotional healing can work hand in hand.
That journey shaped who I am today: someone passionate about being that supportive presence for others.
Professional Path
Where Faith Meets Professional Care
As a registered psychotherapist, I combine evidence-based therapeutic approaches with the wisdom and comfort of Christian faith — when clients desire it. I’ve seen firsthand how powerful this integration can be, both in my own life and in the lives of my clients.
In every session, I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can:
Explore difficult emotions without fear of judgment.
Discover and build upon your God-given strengths.
Learn practical coping skills that honor both your mental health and spiritual well-being.
Process life’s challenges while staying rooted in faith, if that’s part of your journey.
Faith and doubt are both welcome here.
