Sandtray Therapy
When talking isn't enough.
A Different Way to Access What Words Cannot Express
Sometimes you can describe what you're going through — but something deeper stays stuck.
Sandtray therapy uses symbols, imagery, and tactile experience to help your mind and body process emotions that talk therapy alone can't unlock.
No artistic ability needed. Just openness.
You do not need to be artistic, creative, or know what to say. You simply need to be open to a different kind of therapeutic experience.
What's Sandtray Therapy?
You use sand and miniature figures to create scenes that reflect your inner world — emotions, conflicts, hopes.
It engages:
The right brain (imagery, intuition, emotion)
The nervous system (grounding through touch)
The symbolic mind (meaning without forcing it)
Why Adults Choose Sandtray Therapy
Sandtray therapy is particularly suited for adults who:
Emotionally stuck despite self-awareness
Stress held in the body that talking doesn't shift
Prefer creative or experiential processing
Fatigued by talking about problems
Busy, analytical minds that override emotions
Sensing something beneath the surface you can't access
What Happens in a Session
Each session is tailored to your pace, comfort, and natural process:
Settling in — arrive, breathe, tune in
Gentle invitation — select figures, place them in sand however feels right
Creation — build a scene, place a single object, or just move sand. Speak or stay silent.
Reflection — if you wish. Insight is yours to discover, never imposed.
